Book of the Quarter Assignment

Here is the assignment for the Book of the Month assignment. Once you have completed it, post it on our Kid Blog. Make sure you can sign in before it's too late. The assignment must be posted by midnight Sunday, January 18. If it is later than that, you will lose points. The smart choice is to post it early. Don't forget to make sure it posted. While Sunday night is the deadline, you can turn it in any time between now and then. And now, the assignment:

Book-of-the-Quarter
For your outside reading book, provide the following:
Title
Author
Image of book cover
Rating of book (1-10)
Briefly summarize the book (1-2 paragraphs)
In addition to the above, choose 3 of the prompts below and answer them for your novel. Your responses should be 1-2 paragraphs for each prompt:
1.       Choose one of the following sentence starters and write a brief reflection for it.

5.       Above you rated this book. Explain in detail why you gave this book that score.
6.       Evaluate the ending of this book. Considering how the book unfolded, is it an effective ending? Why? Why not?

7.       If this book had gone one more chapter, what would have happened? Explain.
