Trudy

Why does Trudy think Edgar is crazy? If she thinks this, is she going to follow his instructions?
What does Edgar have up his sleeve?
If your son doesn't trust your boyfriend (who just happens to be your dead husband's brother), shouldn't you at least hear him out on why he doesn't trust him? Wouldn't you ask?

Trudy thinks that Edgar is crazy because he asked her if she seen the man in the rain, and she thinks he was running around in the woods for the whole two months he was gone. I don't blame her for feeling that way though. If I was her, I would think Edgar was crazy too. But, despite that, she will probably listen to Edgar because he is her son and she trusts him.

I definitely think that she should have talked about Claude with Edgar. She should of asked him why he didn't like Claude. Edgar just needs to talk about it with someone. It might make him feel better and help him realize the real reason he doesn't like Claude. It could possibly make him see Claude in a better way and improve their relationship.

Trudy thinks that Edgar is crazy because he asks her if he saw his father in the rain. Also, he has been running around for two months and she thinks he is starved and delusional. Although she has speculations, she goes along with Edgar's plan because he is her son and she knows that he doesn't do anything unless it has a purpose behind it.

I was slightly baffled that Trudy didn't take the time to talk to Edgar about his feelings on Claude. It was especially surprising that she saw him freaking out about it and she didn't understand that it was because she rebounded so quickly after the death of Gar. I would have not hesitated to ask his opinion because Edgar is the only real family that she had left.
